A cozy living room scene centered on a plush, dove-gray armchair draped with a neatly folded, knitted cream throw. On the armrest rests an open devotional book with gilded page edges, a slim ribbon bookmark trailing over the side. On a nearby side table, a minimalist analog clock with gold hands shows an early morning time beside a small, potted olive tree in a matte white pot. Soft, diffused light from an unseen window bathes the scene in a gentle glow, creating subtle shadows in the knit texture. Photographic realism at a three-quarter angle, with a shallow depth of field that softly blurs built-in shelves in the background. The mood is peaceful, sophisticated, and quietly expectant, suggesting an unhurried, sacred reading moment.

Our Beginnings

How a weary mom discovered God in the small moments and began sharing them with others.

About

I started Sacred Minutes from my kitchen table, longing to remember God between nap schedules, dishes, and tears, and to help other mothers discover His presence right where real life happens.

A tidy kitchen corner featuring a pale marble countertop with a handwritten prayer list on thick, cream-colored stationery, a closed planner with a linen-textured cover, and a brass pen resting diagonally across the page. Nearby, a digital timer sits paused beside a neatly folded dish towel and a small, flickering soy candle in a frosted glass jar. Late-afternoon sunlight filters through a nearby window, creating delicate reflections on the marble and gentle shadows from the pen and candle. Shot from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, with crisp focus on the written words and a softly blurred backsplash and cabinets behind. The atmosphere feels calm, intentional, and gently disciplined, capturing the idea of offering God brief, focused minutes amid household tasks.
